Terms of Service
The terms for using Chirona’s website, information, accounts and coordination support, including medical boundaries and responsibilities.
Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to your use of chironahealth.com and the website information, accounts, conversation tools and coordination functions provided by Chirona (“we”, “us” or “our”). Please read them before using the website. By using it after being given a reasonable opportunity to read these Terms, you agree to them to the extent an agreement may lawfully be formed in that way. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
A specific service or care arrangement requires separate confirmation of its scope and conditions. A page description, submitted inquiry, account, case number or automated acknowledgement does not by itself confirm hospital acceptance, an appointment or an obligation to provide a particular service. A separately agreed written arrangement governs that arrangement if it conflicts with these general Terms.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookies Notice explain information handling. Acceptance of these Terms is not a substitute for any separate consent required for personal information or medical care.
Our role and medical boundaries
Chirona provides cancer-treatment information, helps people explore access pathways, and coordinates records, professional review and practical arrangements within the scope confirmed for an individual case. We are not the treating hospital and do not provide medical diagnosis, prescribe treatment or make clinical-trial enrolment decisions through this website.
Website articles, rankings, examples, messages and AI output are general information and preparation aids. They do not establish a doctor–patient relationship with Chirona, replace an assessment by a qualified clinician, or authorise you to start, change or stop treatment.
For an emergency or urgent medical concern, contact emergency services or a qualified medical provider where you are. Do not wait for a website or chat response. Our communications are not an emergency-monitoring service.
Treatment information and availability
Regulatory approval, indications, evidence, trial recruitment and hospital capacity differ by country and change over time. Publication of a therapy or hospital does not mean it is suitable or available for you, that we have a partnership with the institution, or that we can arrange access in every location.
Hospitals, clinicians and research teams decide whether to accept a case, request further tests, recommend care or admit a person to a trial. We do not guarantee eligibility, access to an investigational product, timing, clinical improvement or a particular outcome. Any service-stage timing is an estimate subject to the circumstances of the case.
Illustrative images and examples do not establish an actual patient relationship or outcome. Rankings and summaries reflect their stated selection criteria and sources; they are not an individual medical recommendation or a guarantee of institutional performance.
Your information and responsibilities
Provide accurate, current and relevant information, including material changes in your condition, treatment, contact details or plans. You are responsible for checking records, summaries, translations and proposed arrangements with the appropriate professional and telling us about omissions or errors.
Use the account and inquiry functions as an adult with legal capacity, or contact us as an authorised adult representative. Do not impersonate a patient or submit another person’s records without authority. We may request identity, age or authority checks before proceeding.
Keep your credentials confidential and do not share account access. Notify us promptly if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity you authorise; this does not make you responsible for a security failure attributable to us or remove statutory protections.
Coordination and independent providers
Before relying on a proposed arrangement, obtain confirmation from the relevant coordinator and provider. Do not treat preliminary discussions as a confirmed booking or permission to travel. You and your treating team should confirm medical fitness for travel, documentation and continuity of care.
Hospitals, doctors, laboratories, interpreters, transport providers, accommodation providers, insurers and public authorities act under their own professional, contractual or legal responsibilities. We cannot control their decisions, availability, clinical performance, visa or entry decisions, or travel disruption.
We are responsible for the coordination tasks we expressly agree to perform, subject to applicable law. Merely listing, introducing or helping you communicate with a third party does not make Chirona the provider or guarantor of that party’s services. The current Service Process explains the nature and limits of our support.
AI and online communications
AI tools may generate inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable material, including summaries. Review the content before relying on it or confirming it for the care team. AI messages are not a live confirmation of clinical-trial availability, a clinical assessment or a promise of human review.
Generating a summary does not automatically send it to the human team. Where the sharing feature is used, you must review and confirm the information and attachments to submit. An acknowledgement means the request was received, not that a clinical or coordination outcome has been approved.
Online communications and file uploads may be interrupted or delayed. If a time-sensitive submission is not confirmed, contact us through another published channel. Keep your own copies of important records; the website is not a substitute for your treating provider’s clinical record.
Permitted use and site protection
You may use the website for lawful personal information and authorised care-coordination purposes. Do not attempt unauthorised access, bypass permissions or usage limits, interfere with security, upload harmful or unlawful material, impersonate another person, or misuse other people’s personal information.
Without written permission, do not commercially reproduce the site, mass-extract its content, harvest contact or patient information, use private data for model training, or use automated tools in a way that overloads the service. Ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages in accordance with published controls is not prohibited by this restriction.
We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security, misuse, legal requirements, unreliable identity information or a threat to other users. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and a way to contact us. Restricting website access does not remove your applicable rights to information already held about you.
Content and materials you provide
Chirona and its licensors retain rights in the website’s original content, design, software and branding. Third-party names, marks and material belong to their respective owners. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may read, print or save reasonable portions of public content for personal, non-commercial use without removing attribution or altering its meaning.
You retain any rights you have in materials you submit. You grant Chirona only the permission needed to receive, store, organise, translate, process and share those materials for your requested support and the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, subject to your authority and any additional consent required. This is not permission to publicly publish your medical records or use them in promotion.
Do not upload materials that you have no right to provide. Third-party links are offered for reference or convenience; their presence is not an endorsement of all content, practices or services at the destination.
Website assurances and limits of responsibility
We aim to present useful information and provide reasonable care in the tasks we undertake, but cannot promise that all website content is complete, error-free or continuously available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and general information are supplied on an “as available” basis without additional implied warranties.
To the extent permitted by law, Chirona is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost business opportunities or profits arising from use of the website, or for losses caused by independent third-party decisions, inaccurate information supplied by a user, or events outside our reasonable control, except to the extent our own legally actionable conduct caused or contributed to the loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where that liability cannot be excluded, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. Mandatory consumer, privacy and patient rights prevail over a conflicting limitation. These Terms do not transfer a provider’s clinical responsibilities to the patient.
Claims arising from misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims and reasonable, evidenced costs directly caused by your unlawful submission of material, infringement of another person’s rights, or deliberate misuse of the website. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our breach, negligence or unlawful conduct, and does not impose liability beyond what applicable consumer law permits.
Where such a claim is made, we will give reasonable notice and allow appropriate participation in the response. We will not agree on your behalf to a settlement requiring an admission or obligation from you without your consent.
Changes and continuity
We may correct content and change or discontinue website features for operational, security or legal reasons. Where a change materially affects an existing agreed service, that service remains subject to its agreement and applicable law. A website change does not retroactively rewrite an individual arrangement.
Revised Terms will be published with an updated date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required, and renewed agreement will be sought where the law requires it. Changes operate prospectively and do not remove rights that have already accrued.
Questions, disputes and interpretation
Please send website or service concerns to support@chironahealth.com with sufficient detail for us to investigate. We will seek a practical resolution. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising a statutory remedy or filing a complaint.
These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver or an exclusive foreign court. Applicable law and the competent forum are determined under the relevant legal rules and any valid separate agreement, without depriving you of mandatory protections.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as legally possible. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver. Language versions are provided for accessibility; if a material translation difference arises, we will clarify it without limiting rights required by applicable law.
