Patients and the medical team of Jiahui Cancer Center

According to reports, the patient was previously diagnosed with gastroduodenal adenocarcinoma. The standard treatment in New Zealand was not effective, the tumor continued to progress, and there was no better treatment option. After searching online, the patient learned that the world's first new CAR-T drug for solid tumors will soon be approved for marketing in China (approved for marketing on June 22, 2026), and Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital is one of the first institutions to apply this therapy. In view of the fact that the hospital has accumulated rich experience in the field of CAR-T treatment as a comprehensive international hospital and has provided treatment to cancer patients from Singapore, the United States, New Zealand, Russia and other countries, the patient immediately contacted the hospital.

At the suggestion of the Jiahui International Cancer Center team, the patient underwent pre-detection of Claudin18.2 and HER2 target expression in New Zealand. The results are encouraging - its Claudin18.2 expression level reaches 95%, which is highly consistent with the indications of satricabtagene autoleucel injection. Taking advantage of the 30-day visa-free policy window for New Zealand citizens to enter China, the patient immediately decided to go to Shanghai for treatment.

Dr. Linli Xuan, Director of the Department of Medical Oncology at Jiahui International Cancer Center, said: "We are honored to be one of the first institutions to use this world's first solid tumor CAR-T treatment program. Unlike the treatment of hematological tumors and solid tumors, which are often scattered in different departments, Jiahui International Cancer The Center is committed to building a one-stop cancer diagnosis and treatment platform. At present, the center has integrated the advantages and resources of the entire hospital and has established a standardized process system covering detection and evaluation, cell collection, reinfusion management, and adverse reaction monitoring. The center has accumulated a wealth of successful cases and is good at customizing personalized CAR-T diagnosis and treatment plans for each patient. "

Apheresis is the first step in the entire CAR-T treatment process. After the cell preparation is completed, the patient will receive reinfusion and continue subsequent treatment under the full management of the multidisciplinary team of Jiahui Cancer Center.

Note: CT041 (satricabtagene autoleucel injection) has been approved for marketing by the China National Medical Products Administration. The information described in this article is based on public information and hospital disclosures. Specific treatment plans need to be evaluated by professional doctors based on the patient's condition.
